Saturday 11th February

On Saturday we have arranged a 'first' for the Festival - a tour of the Island Triangle area of North Ealing/Acton which has been used for numerous location shoots and is thought to be 'the most filmed area of England'. This tour will be followed by a film shot in the location - with a lunch break inbetween - both at The Collective Old Oak.

They will be followed by an evening with the Ealing Symphony Orchestra - a concert that is now a firm regular event in our programme, taking place as usual at St Barnabas Church. The ESO will be focusing on music for popular British / Ealing films, playing music by William Walton, Alan Rawsthorne and Ralph Vaughan Williams - including a world premier. They will be conducted as usual by John Gibbons.
